Mama's is always striving to improve! Here are our recent Green Updates:
- Reducing the amount of "clicks" it takes to place an order: Hey, anything can be reduced - even the amount of "clicks" it takes to place an order! Mama's online ordering system is designed (by fabulous efelle media) so orders can be placed quickly. No sifting through click after click of text and pictures - we even give you the option of having us pick your mix of lunches. You are in and out quickly at mamasbrownbags.com!
- New sandwich platter boxes!: We noticed almost every corporate lunchroom has a stack of plastic catering platters - no one wants to throw them away and they are hard to re-use so they stack up and collect dust and then end up getting discarded anyhow. Mama's found a great solution: boxes for sandwich platters (kind of like donut boxes) - then can either be re-used or recycled.
- Cleaning solution that is so safe you can drink it!: That's right, Mama's has found Kleen Warior as our new cleaning solution - it is so safe for the environment (biodegradable and non toxic) that you can drink it. Although it doesn't taste very good - it won't harm you either.
- Complete line up of green packaging!
- Our lunch bags, napkins and salad boxes are both recyclable and made from recycled materials.
- Our utensils and dressing containers/lids are compostable plastic that is made from corn.
