Recycling, sounds easy enough but unfortunately only 24% of Americans recycle their finished water bottles. Millions of pounds of plastic each year are wasted and not recycled due the idleness/obliviousness of people. It is so simple. We all need to do our part to make our offices, houses, communities and world a safer and cleaner one.
People claim that they drink bottled water because it is convenient and tastes better than tap water, but the truth is that tap water has been proven to be as safe as bottled water. An alternative to tap water is a Brita water filter, as they generate the equivalent to 300 water bottles. This is a great way to drink water as it is environmentally friendly as well as cost effective. The cost of an average gallon of water through a Brita water filter is less than 10 cents.
